Virtual Psychotherapist Position (2 available positions as of April 2025)
About the Practice
We are a growing women-owned group practice in Virginia dedicated to providing exceptional care for our clients while offering a supportive, low-stress environment for our clinicians. Margaux Flood (practice owner) is passionate about working with women who crave to experience more confidence and ease in their lives, and that extends to her team as well!
This is the perfect opportunity for a fully licensed therapist who wants to experience a lot of the benefits of private practice without the challenges of running a business independently.
We handle the administrative side of therapy—referrals, scheduling, billing, and marketing—so you can focus on what you do best: helping clients thrive.
We currently work with adults and couples across the states of Virginia, Florida, Missouri and Mississippi.
Position Highlights
Flexible Schedule: Minimum of 10 client hours per week required, with the freedom to design your own availability. Afternoon/evening availability is highly recommended/preferred if you want to fill your caseload quickly.
100% Virtual: Work from the comfort of your own home. Opportunities to meet in person for consultation if you are local to the Virginia Beach area (hello free lunch!)
Minimal Admin Work: We manage the back-end operations, including client referrals, insurance credentialing and billing, so you can focus on therapy.
Compensation Structure: Tiered compensation plan starting at $60/session, with opportunities for increases based on performance milestones (more information below).
Mentorship: Receive guidance and professional support to grow your skills and confidence as a clinician. Monthly consultation provided as well as learning opportunities around back-end operations if you hope to one day have your own practice.
Practice Autonomy: We will market you towards the types of clients you are most passionate about working with. Feel free to dream big and get as specific as you want in terms of who you really love working with!
Requirements & Expectations
Fully licensed to practice independently in the state of Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
Minimum 18-month commitment to the practice.
Given that this is not a full-time position we assume you may be working elsewhere, but ask that you not have your own private practice or actively market your services independently while with us.
Strong passion for providing high-quality, client-centered therapy.
Reliable, ethical, and committed to professional growth.
Retention-focused and open to receiving feedback if client retention is low
Self-reliant, able to manage your own time well, and communicate clearly when you need support.
This is a 1099 Contractor Position
As a 1099 contractor, you’ll enjoy autonomy in your therapy approach while benefiting from the structure and support of a group practice. This role is ideal for someone who wants a thriving practice without the overhead and logistics of running their own business.
